Minnetonka Alumni Awards 2026

Minnetonka Public Schools’ 17th annual alumni awards event was held September 29, 2026, to recognize alumni, former faculty, and community service. Speakers highlighted the district’s educational programs, alumni mentorship, community involvement, and school safety efforts. The Alumni Association reported that it has raised and distributed more than $65,000 over five years to support teachers’ innovative ideas, a new scholarship program, and student activities; attendees were also encouraged to donate. No procurement decisions, contract awards, or spending votes were identified.

The superintendent described a school-safety pilot for after-school access and student pickup that remains in its launch phase, but the transcript did not identify a related purchase, contract, or budget allocation. Other remarks covered career and experiential learning programs, including construction trades and aviation, and the award recipients’ professional and community contributions.
