Human Rights Commission Meeting 10/1/26

The Revere Human Rights Commission meeting scheduled for October 1, 2026, did not proceed because unexpected absences left the commission without a quorum. Executive Director Steve Morabito announced that Chair Shema Hosseini had resigned and thanked her for her service since 2020; commissioners also expressed appreciation and wished her well. Vice Chair Herbishan Baptista will serve as acting chair until the new year, when the commission expects to vote on a new chair and hold officer elections.
