The Lewis County ATV Roundtable met September 29, 2026, to discuss trail operations, maps, permits, and club activity. Members reviewed a planned ATV map update: slightly larger text, clearer road markings, and removal of business listings while retaining club information and essential trail amenities. Because I Love NY funds the map design and printing, the maps will be distributed free rather than sold; the group discussed digital map layers and possible QR-code links as alternatives for sharing business and visitor information. No map-printing contract or spending approval was voted on, and a $30,000–$40,000 figure was mentioned in a garbled exchange about printing costs, so its meaning is uncertain.

Trail expansion and maintenance were also discussed, including pending permits for a culvert replacement and a proposed bridge crossing, a redesign requested by the Adirondack Park Agency, and possible new trail connections. The group noted that bridge decking may need replacement and discussed ongoing trail inspection and upkeep, but no procurement award, budget allocation, or spending motion was identified. A proposed use of property in Watson remains pending a possible public hearing; other route openings depend on approvals and landowner agreements.
