The City of Russellville, Arkansas Planning Commission met September 29, 2026, and approved several land-use and development applications. It approved an incidental subdivision plat for a proposed QuickTrip convenience store and fuel-sales site, including dedication of approximately 50 feet of right-of-way along East J Street and a cul-de-sac/bulb-out; staff recommended forwarding the plat to City Council. The Commission also approved a large-scale development for a warehouse-office facility at the former Diamond Truck International location, subject to required details being confirmed during site-plan review, and approved a special-use permit for a place of worship at 1203 South Glenwood, conditioned on paved parking and driveway improvements before a certificate of occupancy. Each motion passed without opposition.

The Commission also voted to forward to City Council a rezoning from R-2 to C-2 for a vacant property in the 1300 block of South Knoxville, intended for the applicant’s future food-truck location. No public contract awards, purchasing decisions, procurement budgets, or vendor selections were identified; the matters concerned private development, zoning, and site requirements.
