At the Piedmont Public Schools special Board of Education meeting on October 5, 2026, the board approved education partnerships and placement agreements, including a memorandum of understanding with Mid-America Christian University for student teachers, a SWOSU teacher-apprenticeship pathway commitment supported by available state funding, a SWOSU counseling practicum agreement, and a UCO graduate-student clinical and internship affiliation agreement.
