The September 28, 2026 Beavercreek City Council meeting approved Ordinance 26-21, a supplemental appropriation amendment addressing budget variances and planned expenses. This included a $150,000 appropriation for a possible replacement city server; staff said delaying purchase until January 2027 could increase the base server cost by about 50%, but the vote did not commit the city to purchase it. Council also approved Resolution 26-39 authorizing applications for Ohio Public Works Commission funding, including a Lance Road/North Fairfield signal upgrade and the Swagert Road curve and sidewalk project. The Swagert project was estimated at $450,000 for construction and about $65,000 for design, with a $515,000 developer contribution identified for the work; staff said the contribution’s treatment if grant funding is awarded would be reviewed.

Council also approved Resolution 26-45 authorizing five applications for federal transportation funding through MVRPC, covering road resurfacing, widening, and a multi-use path. Estimated project costs included $1.032 million for Beaver Valley Road resurfacing, $1.155 million for Indian Ripple Road resurfacing, $4.773 million for Dayton-Xenia Road widening, and $3.632 million for Indian Ripple Road widening; the federal request for the latter was $1,947,400. These votes authorized applications, not project awards. Resolution 26-46 authorized a new Rotary Park license agreement with the Beaver Creek Socks, shifting responsibility for outfield maintenance to the group, with no additional license fee except for city services used. Residents raised objections to automated license-plate reader cameras and the Shakertown Road project, but no action on those matters was taken at this meeting.
