The Oklahoma County Excise Board held a special meeting on September 30, 2026, and approved the September 22 minutes and numerous fiscal year 2026–27 estimates of needs, financial statements, appropriations, and certified levies for cities, school districts, charter schools, a technology center, and a fire protection district. Discussions focused on year-over-year budget changes and levy rates; examples included Oklahoma City Public Schools’ general fund appropriation of about $400.2 million and Warr Acres’ sinking fund appropriation of $844,283. Most items were approved by vote. No vendor selections, contracts, bids, or other procurement awards were identified.

The board tabled the Oklahoma Connections Academy state and federal funds request (Resolution 2026-3594) to seek clarification, then reopened and approved it after staff explained it was a correction to the fiscal year 2026 budget. Members struck item 17, concerning Midwest City–Del City schools, after noting the submission lacked a child nutrition budget, and struck item 24, the Insight Charter School estimate, amid questions about a roughly $5 million increase and a request for further explanation. These were budget-review actions rather than procurement decisions.
