The board authorized the auction of surplus equipment including a SCAG mower and a 2012 Chevy Colorado pickup, and approved the purchase and installation of an upgraded Verata camera system for police and town hall, including new high-resolution LPR cameras at the train station. Additionally, the board approved a shared services agreement with Westchester County for cybersecurity endpoint protection, which will reduce current costs. The meeting also included approval of payment claims totaling over $960,000, acceptance of a resignation in the parks department, and renewal of the town's crime insurance policy. A six-month extension of the solar energy systems moratorium was adopted to allow more time for drafting related legislation. Several community and infrastructure projects were highlighted, but no new contract awards or RFPs were announced during this session.
