The August 26, 2026 session of the Clermont County, Ohio Board of Commissioners included several procurement-related discussions and approvals. The board approved resolutions to authorize applications for grant funding for two water infrastructure projects: a $1 million request for the Lower East Fork expansion and another $1 million for upsizing a water main on State Route 276 to improve service and fire protection. They also authorized change orders for the Filiger campus improvement phase 2 project with Greybrock, including a contract extension with no price increase. Additionally, the board approved advertising for competitive sealed proposals to provide services or facilities for senior citizens in the county. A significant agenda item was the consideration of a grant application supporting the acquisition of approximately 54 acres of land in Jackson Township by Cardinal Land Conservancy through the Clean Ohio Greenspace Conservation Program Fund; however, the motion to support this application failed. The meeting also covered employee benefits renewal options, including health and dental insurance plan changes and cost management strategies. Several proclamations and community presentations were made, but no other procurement actions were taken. The board also discussed scheduling changes for upcoming meetings.
