7-14-2026 PSD Board Meeting

The Polk School District Board held a meeting on July 14, 2026, where several procurement and budget-related items were discussed and approved. The board reviewed and unanimously approved the May financial report, noting revenues and expenditures were below projections with a general fund balance of over $13 million. They approved various annual agreements and memorandums of understanding (MOUs), including the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension MOU for FY 27 and the Mountain Education Center MOU, as well as the renewal of a contract with the Board of Regents for the University of Georgia 4-H Program Assistant position at a cost of $5,309.
