Council Action (8/10/26)

The City of Florissant held a council meeting on August 10, 2026, which included several procurement-related discussions. The council accepted a proposal from McConnell and Associates to improve golf course paths, involving the use of approximately 45 tons of concrete for sidewalks and other public works projects. Additionally, funds were allocated to update irrigation systems and improve two athletic fields at the golf course, including ADA accessibility enhancements. The council also approved a new HVAC replacement for the Sunset Nature Lodge. Other agenda items included a special use permit transfer for an automotive business and proposed minor changes to the city charter to be placed on the November ballot. The September 14th council meeting was canceled due to attendance at the municipal league conference.
