DEI Speaker Series - Supporting Transgender Family Members, Friends & Neighbors

This was a City of Wilsonville, Oregon Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee Speaker Series event held on June 6, 2026, focused on supporting transgender family members, friends, and neighbors. The meeting featured personal stories from transgender community members and their families, as well as presentations from representatives of local advocacy organizations such as NAMI Clackamas and Basic Rights Oregon. The discussions centered on lived experiences, challenges faced by transgender individuals, the importance of community support, and available resources for transgender people and their allies.
