VUSD School Closures Advisory Committee Process- Family Meeting: March 5, 2026

The district emphasized that no schools have been decided for closure yet, with Buena and Ventura High Schools excluded from consideration due to their size and specialized programs. The meeting also addressed staffing implications, contractual obligations, and the potential fiscal savings from closures, as well as opportunities for community engagement throughout the process.
