The Gregg County Commissioners' Court held a regular meeting on July 14, 2026, where several procurement and budget-related matters were addressed. The court approved payroll, bills payable, budget amendments, and benefit payments. Finally, the court discussed the creation of a regional groundwater conservation district, approved a professional service agreement with Sledge Law Group for legal services related to this effort, and appointed the County Judge as the county representative to the joint committee working on the district's formation.
