2024 Veterans Day Observation

The City of Lake Elsinore held a Veterans Day observation ceremony on November 12, 2024, to honor and recognize the sacrifices and service of military veterans. The event included prayers, speeches, musical performances, and the announcement of new memorial bricks honoring local veterans. Keynote speaker Dustin Nigg, a retired Marine and Baltimore City Council member, reflected on the significance of Veterans Day, the challenges faced by service members and their families, and the importance of appreciating all veterans. The ceremony also highlighted the need for community support of veterans organizations such as the American Legion and VFW. No procurement, contracting, or budgetary matters were discussed during this event.
