Parking Public Forum

The forum highlighted ongoing and planned improvements, including a new paid off-beach parking program launching in January 2025, featuring license plate recognition technology, online annual pass registration, and cashless payment options. The county has selected a vendor with proven technology for enforcement and real-time residency verification. Residents and property owners will receive complimentary passes, while visitors will pay $100 annually or $20 daily. The meeting included a Q&A session and solicited public input to refine the parking strategy and implementation plans.
