The Oregon City Urban Renewal Commission held a meeting on June 3, 2026, which included discussions on property management and environmental concerns. The commission approved a motion to authorize the executive director to list two properties, located at 313 South 2nd Street and 214 Tumwater Drive, for sale following deed corrections. These properties, purchased in 2007 for approximately $244,000 and $235,000 respectively, were deemed no longer needed and are currently vacant. Additionally, the commission discussed ongoing environmental remediation efforts at Clackamas Cove, including water quality improvements and hazardous waste removal. There was also mention of a pending contract renewal for a one-year water quality monitoring service and a forthcoming decision regarding a temporary access easement requested by the Oregon Department of Transportation for maintenance work along McLaughlin Boulevard. No final decisions were made on the easement, with further discussion planned for the July meeting.
