4-28-2026 Bountiful City Council Regular Session

The Bountiful City Council held a regular session on April 28, 2026, during which several procurement and budget-related matters were addressed. The council unanimously approved expenditures greater than $1,000 paid on April 8th and 15th. They appointed two new members to the Power Commission, Jamie Tinsley and Jeff Thorp, to bring expertise in education and finance respectively. The council also approved the low bid of $74,925 to Electrical Reliability Services for substation testing and authorized the purchase of a padmounted switchgear from Herby for $27,380, both related to the Northwest substation capital project. Additionally, the council approved a boundary line adjustment to facilitate the Davis County Library remodel project and authorized a contract with Ralph Excavating and Construction for a waterline project at unit prices. Finally, the council passed an interlocal cooperation agreement with Davis County to administer the Community Development Block Grant program for federal fiscal years 2027-2029, allowing the county to apply for and manage federal housing assistance funds on behalf of Bountiful City.
