Laramie City Council 5/6/26 Meeting Recap

The Laramie City Council held a meeting on May 6, 2026, where several procurement and budget-related matters were addressed. The council approved amendments to the fiscal year 2026 budget and authorized an amendment to the contract with TriHydro Corporation for construction management and contract administration services related to the Ivonson infrastructure upgrades phase 2 project. TriHydro was also awarded a professional services agreement for construction management and contract administration on multiple projects through task orders to support quality control, inspection, and contract administration during construction. Additionally, the council approved the Westside urban renewal plan, which includes the use of tax increment financing as authorized by Wyoming statute. The council also approved community partner grant award funding for 2026-2027 and adopted goals and objectives for fiscal year 2027 covering financial stability, infrastructure, and economic development. All procurement and budget-related items passed unanimously with a 9-0 vote.
