1St Quarter PSLPD Awards Ceremony - 05/06/2026

The City of Port St. Lucie Police Department held its 1st Quarter Awards Ceremony on May 6, 2026, to recognize outstanding service and achievements of its personnel. The event highlighted various service citations for years of service, unit citations for exceptional teamwork and leadership, and individual awards for proactive policing, investigative excellence, and community engagement. Notably, Officer Angel Vargas was recognized for leading a commemorative challenge coin fundraiser that raised over $20,000 in support of a fellow officer's family. Additionally, Captain Michelle Steel and Lieutenant John Delro received awards for their leadership in managing renovations to the main police department building and the real-time information center.
