Planning Commission Meeting 4/16/26

The CTN Coon Rapids Planning Commission held a meeting on April 16, 2026, where they approved a conditional use permit (CUP) for Mary T. Inc. to reopen an existing assisted living and memory care facility at 11777 Exxon Boulevard with a 12-unit addition and site modifications. The commission discussed zoning nonconformities, parking requirements, and site improvements, ultimately voting unanimously to approve the CUP. Additionally, the commission recommended approval of an ordinance amendment to simplify temporary sign regulations, including removing the 30-day holding requirement for non-conforming signs and extending the allowable period for non-commercial political signage to 90 days before general elections.
