3/4/26 Dobbs Avenue Traffic Calming Meeting

The Metro Nashville Network held a community meeting on March 4, 2026, to discuss the final design plans for traffic calming measures on Dobbs Avenue as part of the Neighborhood Street Calming Program. The meeting focused on the proposed installation of speed cushions to reduce vehicle speeds and improve safety. Attendees provided feedback on the placement of speed cushions, particularly near intersections and driveways, to optimize effectiveness and minimize disruption. The project team committed to incorporating this input before finalizing plans. Following the meeting, ballots with unique IDs will be mailed to eligible residents for a neighborhood vote on the project, with voting open for six weeks. The project will proceed based on resident approval, with installation timing to be determined thereafter.
