Civil Service Commission 2026.03.04

The City of Binghamton's Civil Service Commission held a special meeting to approve updates to two job descriptions. The job description was revised to emphasize grant administration, planning, evaluation of human service programs, and coordination with the director of planning, housing, and community development. Changes also included updates to reporting duties, knowledge requirements related to HUD's Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS), and minimum qualifications requiring a degree in public or grants administration and relevant experience. Both updates were approved unanimously without further discussion.
