The City of Oxnard City Council reviewed the year-end final report and fiscal year 2024-25 budget for the Riveridge Golf Club, a municipal golf course operated under contract by American Golf Corporation (AGC). The council approved an appropriation of up to $280,838 from the golf course operating fund to cover additional expenses beyond the revised budget. These expenses included unplanned capital costs such as the replacement of a bridge and an irrigation control system damaged by a power surge, as well as compliance and equipment repairs. AGC absorbed some unforeseen costs during the year, and the new contract includes provisions for capital improvements to be approved separately to avoid impacting the operations budget. The golf operations reported actual expenses of $6,800,919 against projected revenues of approximately $6,750,636, with no impact on the general fund.
