Hancock County, IN - 11/5/2026 Technical Committee Meeting

The Hancock County, Indiana Technical Committee met on November 5, 2026. The committee approved the prior meeting minutes and reviewed two subdivision plat items. Rockfield Estates replat, submitted by R&F Development (26-2732) in Sugar Creek Township, would enlarge lot 19A and extend an easement; it was approved based on completion of Planning and Survey comments. No procurement, contract awards, or spending decisions were identified.

For Manship Estates North, members discussed the proposed driveway location, plat corrections, floodplain information, landscaping, and drainage requirements. The applicant was asked to submit an address plan, provide a landscaping sheet, obtain drainage review and prepare a drainage study, and clarify maintenance responsibilities and access for private drainage facilities. The committee approved the item based on completion of Planning and Survey comments. The school bus pickup point will be at 950 North rather than on the private drive. The committee noted there would be no Technical Advisory Committee meeting the following month.
