At the November 5, 2026 joint meeting of the Macomb County Board of Commissioners’ Public Services and Records and Public Safety committees, members approved motions recommending contracts and other spending-related items to the full board. They advanced a three-year, $277,000 PCE Systems contract for electronic clinical forms and referrals ($92,000 for development and $5,000 per month for hosting and maintenance) to support data collection and referrals for the central intake and assessment center. They also approved a change order increasing Mission Critical Partners’ contract authority by up to $165,100 for continued project support during the transition to Axon 911; the department said it would pay only for services used. The original contract’s not-to-exceed amount was $554,017.

The committees approved a $1 million shift among projects within the county’s existing $40 million ARPA allocation for drainage-district projects to meet the federal spending deadline, with no change to the total allocation or project list. They also advanced a resolution seeking the county’s full-faith-and-credit pledge for a drainage-district bond related to a new pump station at Nine Mile and Jefferson; the bond amount was not stated, and officials said there would be no increase in annual drainage-district costs. Other approved items included MDOT-related traffic signal, traffic operations, road reconstruction and shared-use-path projects; a budget adjustment for a $500,000 EPA brownfield assessment grant, with an RFP for environmental consultants planned; and six CDBG subrecipient agreements for projects in Richmond, Mount Clemens, Macomb Township, Harrison Township, Eastpointe and New Baltimore. The meeting also adopted a veterans-awareness resolution; no procurement action was identified for that item.
