The Englewood Liquor and Marijuana Licensing Authority held public hearings on November 4, 2026, to consider three liquor-license applications. The hearing officer approved La Marina Family Broadway LLC’s hotel and restaurant license for La Marina Family Restaurant at 200 W. Belleview; P.A. Inc.’s hotel and restaurant license for Corvus Coffee Roasters/The Fox and the Raven Bakery at 3395 S. Broadway; and Den Sobo LLC’s tavern license for The Den at 3467 S. Broadway. Written decisions were to be mailed within 30 days. The approvals were based on findings that the applications met applicable licensing criteria, including neighborhood need, premises suitability, and zoning and distance requirements. Petition results were broadly supportive; the Corvus application had 105 supporters and two opponents, while La Marina had 103 supporters and one opponent. No one opposed The Den at the hearing.

The La Marina applicant described a prior two-week liquor-license suspension involving an incident in the parking lot and an earlier instance of alcohol being served to a minor; the applicant said staff training had been strengthened. Corvus and The Den also described employee alcohol-service training and identification procedures. No contracts, purchases, budgets, or other procurement activity were identified.
