The Fall River Redevelopment Authority meeting, identified by its title as November 4, 2026, approved the November warrant for $414,321.85. The board also approved Beta Amendment No. 6 for $39,700, authorizing the chair and/or executive director to sign for work at the City Pier entry area. The work is expected to be paid from remaining grant funds; the discussion also covered proposed tree-line improvements and replacing dock cameras for $5,325, but no camera purchase approval was recorded. A separate $40,000 state grant will support design work for lighting, landscaping, wayfinding, and signage, and the Authority is preparing to select a firm. The Northfield Point project was reported complete, with approximately $200,000 in grant funds remaining, subject to final costs.

The board reviewed, but did not vote on, the proposed Flint neighborhood urban renewal plan. The plan would provide tools for selective property acquisition and disposition, rehabilitation, and redevelopment; a $1 million seed-funding figure is included as a minimum commitment, not a spending cap. The Authority plans to provide the plan materials for review before a later vote, followed by planning board, city council, and state approvals. The meeting also included a 2025 audit update and discussion of possibly changing the Authority’s monthly meeting date. The board voted to enter executive session and not return to open session.
