The North Haven Board of Selectmen meeting was held November 5, 2026. The board approved the October 1 regular-meeting minutes and October 29 special-meeting minutes, and voted to accept John A. Paris’s resignation as a justice of the peace and appoint Teresa Bage to the position. It also approved a group of property-tax refunds. No contract awards, bids, purchasing decisions, or new spending approvals were identified. Members referred to a previously approved grant and bonding for Church Street work and discussed capital-maintenance examples, including water-main work and road paving, but took no related action at this meeting.
Public comment and board discussion focused on concerns about proposed Amazon Prime Air drone deliveries: regional officials plan to send Amazon a letter seeking answers and community meetings, and a decision is expected sometime in 2027. Speakers also urged residents to attend an upcoming Planning and Zoning meeting regarding a proposed mixed-use development at 300 Elm Street and a billboard-overlay text amendment. These matters were discussed, but the Selectmen took no action on them.
