The Oswego County Legislature’s Infrastructure, Facilities and Technology Committee met on November 5, 2026, and approved several resolutions involving infrastructure funding, intergovernmental agreements, and departmental budget adjustments. The committee approved an increase to the capital project for the Maple Avenue Bridge over Little Sandy Creek, originally estimated at about $2 million through Bridge NY. Members discussed repeated rebidding amid rising costs and an initial contractor’s withdrawal; Ridgeway is completing the work, which was expected to finish in November. The increase passed, with one opposing vote. The committee also approved capital funding for a public safety retaining-wall project and agreements with the New York State Department of Transportation, including items identified by contract number D014896 and PIN 375722. A $340,000 grant was reported for a salt shed, with the county responsible for the remaining project costs.
