The City of Carmel Board of Public Works met on November 4, 2026. The board opened one bid for the 2026 annual flower order: Hood’s Gardens submitted the sole bid of $234,662.85; no award was recorded. Members approved a $15,000 change order with NV5 Geospatial, Inc. for Cityworks support to complete a software upgrade, and approved water-treatment filter media replacement amendments with Bastin Logan Water Services, Inc. for $94,000 and Ortman Drilling, Inc. for $94,069. Staff said quotes were obtained from three companies for both filter projects, with different vendors submitting the lowest quote for each.

The board also approved a 2027 school police and resource officer agreement with Carmel Clay Schools, including limited live access to selected city traffic-camera feeds and revised student-information language; a renewal of the West Tower lease with T-Mobile Central LLC, negotiated at an increased rate; and the 2027 meeting calendar. Requests to dedicate public right of way and grant a utility easement at 599 3rd Avenue SW were tabled for revisions. The approved items passed by voice vote; no contract amount was stated for the T-Mobile lease or school agreement.
