Planning Commission - 11/4/26

The Glendale Planning Commission met on November 4, 2026. A consultant from Olin and city staff presented an update on the Open Space, Conservation, and Recreation Element of the General Plan, covering park access and condition, projected population growth, community feedback, wildfire and climate concerns, accessibility, and potential priorities for park expansion. The draft is expected to be released for public comment in the coming months, followed by CEQA review, with adoption targeted for next summer. The Commission was advised that the parcel map for 1420 Valley View Road (Item 7B) was removed from the calendar and will be renoticed for December 2. The next scheduled meeting on November 18 will not be held because no hearing items are scheduled. No procurement activity was identified.
