Utah County Board of Equalization and Board of County Commissioners public meetings, November 4, 2026. The BOE approved minutes and several assessor, hearing-process, and property-appeal items, including late-filed valuation appeals recommended by the assessor and a late farmland-assessment petition. In the commissioners’ work session, USU Extension presented its annual report and 2027 budget request, which included a $3,000 increase for staff cost-of-living adjustments; the rest of the budget was described as unchanged. The commission also held a public hearing on issuing a bond to build a new public works building. No public comments were made, and the transcript records no vote on the bond issuance.

On the regular agenda, commissioners approved a project-specific license agreement with the Utah Transit Authority for a trail project. They also approved an agreement to pass through and reimburse Lehi City with previously approved MAG funds for a city project; the county serves as fiscal agent, and no amounts were stated. Items 5 and 14 were continued to November 18, while items 19 and 23 were approved. Public commenters raised concerns about data-center development, water and energy use, and a proposed zoning ordinance; commissioners said the ordinance was not on this agenda and that a revised version would be available by the end of the week. No data-center procurement or contract award was identified.
