November 2, 2026 Board Work Session

At its November 2, 2026 work session, the MSD Warren Township Board approved the 2026–27 tentative collective bargaining agreement, which had been ratified by the local teachers’ association on October 28. The board also approved construction project pricing for Stony Brook Intermediate and Raymond Park. Stony Brook’s estimated total project cost is $16,848,245 ($14,707,072 hard costs and $2,141,173 soft costs), including roofing, façade, and restroom work. Powers and Sons was identified as the construction manager/construction contractor; the discussion addressed its ability to self-perform work and diverse subcontractor participation, reported at just under 21% in the second tier.

The Raymond Park project, including graduate program enhancements, roofing, building-envelope, and restroom improvements, was approved at a total estimated cost of $17,007,444 ($14,845,883 hard costs and $2,161,561 soft costs), with 11.47% second-tier MBE participation reported. Motions on both construction items passed. The board said it would consider Creston at a December meeting; no specific vendor or dollar amount for that project was provided. No public comments were received.
