The Revere Conservation Commission meeting on November 4, 2026, considered several notices of intent and enforcement matters. The principal infrastructure item was the City’s Wonderland sewer improvements at 151 VFW Parkway, represented by CDM Smith: approximately 3,300 feet of new 36-inch sewer pipe, plus a 12-inch segment, to help reduce sanitary sewer overflows under the City’s wastewater consent decree. The project is supported by MassDEP State Revolving Fund financing, and the City expects to bid it in February or March and award a construction contract around April; no contract was awarded at this meeting. The Commission approved the notice of intent by vote, with a special condition requiring the City to return after contractor selection with an amendment and detailed plans, including for dewatering, staging, stockpiling, and restoration, before work proceeds.
The Commission also approved a notice of intent for permeable driveway paving at 55 Fowler Avenue. It continued the 15 Arcadia Street retaining-wall violation matter and the 171 Rice Avenue porch project pending additional documentation or a DEP file number. At 65 Ellington Street, commissioners maintained the cease-and-desist status for unauthorized concrete paving and asked the owners to obtain an environmental engineer’s assessment and submit a compliant plan; staff will note the owners’ efforts toward resolution. No other contract awards or purchasing decisions were identified.
