The November 3, 2026 Woodinville City Council meeting included budget, transportation, capital-project, and public-safety discussions. Council authorized extending the Lime micromobility pilot through December 31, 2027; the motion passed despite a dissenting vote. Staff reported more than 2,600 Lime riders in 2026 and discussed safety and parking concerns. A possible Circuit shuttle partnership with Redmond was also explored, with preliminary costs ranging from $3,500 to $5,000 per month for Woodinville under some options; staff will return with more information after Redmond’s future funding is clearer. A student public commenter requested sidewalks on NE 195th Street near two schools, estimating a $2.8 million project, but council took no action on the request.
Council advanced the 2027 property-tax levy ordinance with no increase to the city’s levy rate and continued the budget public hearing to November 17. The updated biennial budget projection showed a positive operating margin of about $473,000; council members raised possible funding for public art, but no allocation was made. The meeting also covered the draft 2027 state legislative agenda, including transportation funding and the SR 522/SR 202 interchange, and adopted the 2026 King County surface-water design and stormwater manuals. The city manager reported that the 133rd roundabout had opened and that construction planning for the trestle project was underway, with work tentatively expected to begin in mid-to-late January.
