BCSS Board Meeting 11/3/2026

The Barrow County School System Board of Education meeting on November 3, 2026, included a major construction procurement action. The board unanimously approved a guaranteed maximum price of $46,999,523 for construction of the BASA Athletics Complex by Parish Construction Group. The superintendent’s representative reported that the price was approximately $3 million below the project’s anticipated cost, following additional time for subcontractors to prepare bids and the construction manager to review them.
