They also considered a change order for the Hinckley wastewater treatment plant electrical upgrade and approved the purchase of 6,900 gallons of unleaded gasoline for the Engineering Center from low bidder R.J. Wright at $3.18 per gallon. A third-quarter transfer of $135,128.72 for the vehicle maintenance fund was also included among five approved finance resolutions. Other business included approval of engineering resolutions related to subdivisions, a road closure, and plats; personnel changes and board appointments; and a proclamation recognizing Operation Green Light for Veterans. Staff reported that 2027 budget work is underway. Commissioners also discussed continued negotiations with Brunswick over a wastewater plan, with ratification postponed pending further dialogue and an EPA deadline expected in June.
