The City of Hendersonville, Tennessee Planning Commission met on November 3, 2026. The commission approved the consent agenda 7–0, with the Forest Park Phase One villas and townhomes site plan removed for separate consideration. After discussing the elevations for a development comprising 10 villa lots and 53 townhomes, commissioners approved that plan with all staff comments. They also approved a building-design waiver for a 30-by-25-foot Hendersonville Police Department K9 building at 3 Executive Park Drive; no cost or contract amount was cited. A presentation described a proposed second Truce restaurant location, with construction hoped to start in the first quarter and an estimated five-month buildout, but no procurement or spending action was recorded for it.

The commission approved Beautiful Hendersonville’s request to install an artistic vinyl wrap on a traffic-signal control cabinet at West Main Street and Saunders Ferry Road, passing 4–3. Beautiful Hendersonville will maintain the wrap, which was described as having a seven-year product life; no price was stated. The planning director also noted a state law taking effect in January that will require applications to be placed on an agenda or approved or denied by staff within specified timeframes, changing application-processing procedures. No contract awards, bids, or budget allocations were identified.
