The November 3, 2026 regular meeting of the City of San Ramon Planning Commission considered an appeal of the zoning administrator’s approval of Club Studio at 3207 Crow Canyon Place. After hearing the appellant, applicant, staff, and traffic consultants, the Commission voted 4–0 to adopt Planning Commission Resolution 04-26, deny the appeal, and uphold approval of the development plan amendment, minor use permit, minor exception, and architectural review. The project will adapt a vacant 33,808-square-foot retail space into a fitness and wellness facility, with exterior improvements and a proposed 21-space parking reduction; staff concluded it qualified for a CEQA Class 1 exemption. No contract award, vendor selection, or purchasing action was identified.

The Commission also held a nonbinding study session on the proposed Plaza/Crow Canyon Place development at 2000–2010 Crow Canyon Place. The concept would replace existing office buildings with 222 homes, including 102 affordable rental units, 120 for-sale homes, and three live-work units; the applicant also proposed up to 68 junior ADUs and requested density-bonus waivers and a fee-waiver policy that would include the parkland impact fee. Staff noted the fee-waiver request is for City Council consideration, and no approval or spending decision was made at the study session. Commissioners’ feedback included questions about retaining commercial uses, affordable-housing implementation, parking, traffic, walkability, parks, and project design.
