November 2, 2026 Regular Planning Commission Meeting

The City of Ceres Planning Commission held its regular meeting on November 2, 2026. The commission approved the consent calendar and, following a public hearing, approved Conditional Use Permit 2644 for Total Player Academy to operate an indoor baseball and athletic training facility in an existing industrial tenant space at 2216 Cedar Veil Drive. The approval included correcting the suite designation from A to B and finding the project categorically exempt under CEQA; the motion passed unanimously, 4–0. Conditions address operational matters such as staggered scheduling and parking management, while required building and fire reviews for interior improvements remain separate.

Commissioners discussed the proposed operating hours, weekend camps, expected group sizes, and a question about nearby weekend parking restrictions. No contracts, purchases, budget allocations, or other procurement activity were identified.
