Forest Park City Council Meeting of November 2, 2026

The Forest Park City Council meeting was held November 2, 2026. Council adopted Ordinance 30-2026, approving a substantial revision to the Morningside planned unit development, by a 4–3 vote. The revision adds buildings to the previously approved development plan. Council’s discussion referenced resident concerns about construction dust, traffic, views, and wildlife; no construction contract or procurement award was considered. Residents also asked about additional street lighting, but the council indicated that it would require further consideration and normally involves a petition and resident payment.
