Council approved budget amendments affecting the general, special revenue, debt service, and internal service funds, including funding adjustments for outfitting two public safety patrol vehicles; the finance director said the general fund balance would remain at an estimated 23% of annual expenditures. Council also approved recommendations concerning exceptions to special assessment districts. During public comment, residents raised concerns about use of the city event hub for a political event; the mayor stated that renting the facility to a private organization does not imply city endorsement. No new facility-use policy was adopted.
