No council action on the data center proposal was recorded. The council approved a special charge on certain parcels for 2026 bulk-trash removal and approved a notice to extend the city’s lease agreement with Gateway Technical College, a contract with KPH Environmental Inc. for asbestos testing and sampling, and professional services agreements with Delano S. Smith and Chris and E. Harrod. It also approved two right-of-way encroachment agreements. These contract and agreement items passed 13–0.
On public works, the council approved the recommendation to reject bids for Project 26-1575, Fire Station 2 siding replacement, and accepted the completed Project 24-1010 pavement-marking work by Century Traffic LLC, with a final contract amount of $227,778.50; both passed 13–0. The council also approved a finance committee disbursement record, though the transcript’s amount is garbled. Other actions included opting into the Albertsons class-action settlement and approving a two-lot certified survey map.
