The Seminole County 2026 General Election Canvassing Board met on November 1, 2026. The board approved the prior meeting minutes and received an election update: as of 7:00 p.m. October 30, voter turnout was 111,472, reported as 17% above the 2022 election and 66% of the 2024 election. The Supervisor of Elections reported 38,243 vote-by-mail ballots verified for tabulation, a difference of 239 from ballots returned, 10,612 outstanding vote-by-mail ballots, and 2,348 voters who had requested mail ballots but voted in person. The board reviewed ballots referred for signature verification and discussed contacting voters to give them an opportunity to cure signature issues before the applicable deadline.
The board continued reviewing ballots, including voter-intent decisions and ballots requiring duplication or other processing. Ballot opening and processing will continue daily as needed, and the next canvassing board meeting was scheduled for November 2. The board later voted to adjourn. No procurement, contract, or budget activity was identified.
