The Clackamas County Board of Commissioners’ meeting on October 29, 2026, approved its consent agenda by a 4–0 vote. Procurement actions included a $244,823 public improvement contract with Brown Contracting, Inc. for an enhanced crossing on Southwest Pinkleton Road at Southwest Dawn Street, and three-year, $3 million county-road-fund contracts for asphaltic concrete products with Lakeside Industries, Inc. and South County Asphalt LLC. The transcript also refers to another three-year, $3 million county-road-fund contract, but its vendor and scope are garbled. The board approved a resolution adopting the Transportation Safety Action Plan, amended policies for sale and administration of tax-foreclosed and surplus county property, and the repurchase of four tax-foreclosed parcels by three former owners for $30,390.80. These items were identified as involving no county general funds.
The North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District consent agenda also passed 4–0 and included a $217,752.70 contract with All Play Systems for playground equipment and surfacing at the Jennings Lodge campus, funded through Metro grants. During public comment, a speaker urged coordinated review of transportation projects’ cumulative effects on the Stafford agricultural area and consideration of less destructive safety alternatives. Commissioners also discussed improving public engagement and coordinating county regulatory processes; no additional procurement action was identified in those discussions.
