The City of Hartford, Wisconsin Common Council met on October 27, 2026, and approved several property and capital-project items. It authorized a 20-year hangar land lease for Lot 97 at Hartford Municipal Airport with David Stamsta, running September 25, 2026–December 31, 2046, at an annual rate of $0.10 per square foot. The council also approved a developer agreement with RMC Homes 8 LLC in Tax Incremental District 13, connected to a senior housing development and the Shower Drive extension. The agreement anticipates a project assessed value of at least $35 million by June 30, 2028, with provisions addressing any shortfall; the TID is intended to generate up to $3.2 million over its remaining life to help cover project costs.

For Fire Station No. 2, the council approved IC Construction’s bid for alternatives 1 and 2 at $3,760,300, which is $183,700 below the revised approved budget. It also approved reallocating already-borrowed funds and purchasing eligible items directly through the city’s purchase-order system; the discussion cited approximately $96,925 in purchases and contemplated reallocating funds previously planned for a fire engine. The fire chief said the city would retain the current older engine while it remains fiscally responsible to operate, rather than commit to replacing it, and discussed mutual aid and county EMS funding as operational context. The council also approved a contract with Payne and Dolan for resurfacing the State Highway 60/Main Street intersection, with no contract amount stated in the transcript. Other actions included approval of a new liquor license and an ordinance establishing amusement-device and arcade licensing fees.
