At its October 27, 2026 regular meeting, the Oakdale City Council approved a memorandum of understanding with the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District for inspection and sediment removal at four city stormwater facilities. The project covers an estimated 3,000 tons of sediment, with anticipated city construction costs of approximately $250,000 over two years. The city estimates the partnership will save $30,000–$40,000 compared with using private engineering firms; the city will retain authority to proceed with or halt the work. Council also authorized Change Order No. 004 for the police expansion and City Hall remodel project, adding north parking lot paving and curbing for $167,452.75.
The council adopted Resolution 2026-79, certifying approximately 300 delinquent utility and inactive accounts totaling about $248,000 to Washington County for potential inclusion on 2027 property tax statements if unpaid by November 15. It also approved the claims roster for October 14–27 totaling $5,685,044.07, described as including construction charges. No bids were presented for award.
