The Granite Falls School Board meeting on October 29, 2026, included an update on levy-funded sports-field and facilities capital projects. The committee had received preliminary field drawings and discussed reducing nonessential design features to direct available funds toward priorities such as field lighting. Members noted the need for lit, usable fields during the darker months, but no contract award, vendor selection, specific expenditure, or procurement vote was reported. The superintendent also described CTE facility work, including a roof for the container project and planning for a Skilled and Technical Trades building, for which a donation from Iron Mountain Quarry was mentioned; no purchasing action was taken on these items.

The board approved a transition of Mountain Way and Monte Cristo elementary schools to K–5 configurations beginning in the 2027–28 school year and adopted Policy 2421 on instruction, promotion, and retention. Other discussion covered student screening results and supports, CTE programs, and district activities. No additional procurement activity was identified.
