The City of La Vergne Planning Commission met on October 27, 2026. It deferred a recommendation on Cody Bass’s proposed rezoning of 36.24 acres on Hollandale Road for a 129-lot planned residential development, pending review of the traffic study and clarification of the PDR document. Commissioners questioned the traffic counts and discussed roadway improvements and construction traffic. The commission also deferred the Pope Drive Subdivision Section 2 final plat for two lots, citing concerns about the existing road’s standards and requested improvements. Both deferrals passed by vote.

The commission voted to recommend approval of the revised PDR for the 89.1-acre Twining Station project, which includes 938 residential units, retail and mixed-use areas, and land intended to become city property. Staff noted that sewer pump-station upgrades or replacement may be needed if required to provide capacity. The commission also approved the prior meeting minutes. No procurement activity, contract awards, or purchasing decisions were identified; the discussion focused on land use and development requirements.
